Thread Title: "Former Ebay Sellers"
AuctionArmsCeo As I'm sure everyone is aware, Ebay made a decision to further limit the sales of firearms related items on it's website. Naturally, we think they're idiots, but we're also happy to take up the slack and help out those sellers who need a new home.

As an additional benefit to our existing users, we've also issued credits to those sellers that had the bulk of their business at Ebay, but were still active users of Auction Arms. But, given the complexity of winnowing out those sellers who meet that criteria, we've found that a few sellers didn't get their credits, and we want to make sure everyone gets their due. So - for the month of August - if you're been an Ebay user and are moving your business to Auction Arms OR you are a current and active seller of Auction Arms with an Ebay ID, and didn't get any credit for listing in the categories at Auction Arms that are comparable to the categories that are being closed down at Ebay, please give us a holler. We'd love to help you out, and make your transition to Auction Arms easier. Thanks...

(no avatar) Because of Ebay's gun policies I don't to buy or sell anything there. I feel that those policies are and illegal restraint of trade to restrict the sale of any legal item.

That would be like restricting the sale of clothing that you personally don't like or any other item that is legal to manufacture and sell.

Guns are a highly emotional item only because we permit them to be. If people who do not permit the sale of guns also did not get to advertise anything else, they just might change their tune.

Petesguns UltraDave, you can try calling him as well at 707-642-3006. This is his direct line, and that is one of the great things about this site, that the management is directly accessable. Take care!

Petesguns As an interesting aside, eBay has a link when you list an item to make a donation that they will use part of your listing fees to donate to. One of the "charities" that they list, and WILL donate to, is the NRA Education Foundation. Simply amazing!

AA-bob UltraDave, FB report from eBay entered. Welcome aboard and let's bring some of those eBay items over here!

(no avatar) Now you can't even sell junk on E Bay, unless you take Pay Pal (E Bay owns Pay Pal) They won't let you post an item unless you agree to accept Pay Pal. Well, guess what... Pay Pal froze my account for selling guns & mags years ago (that's another long horrible story) so what now? These people at E Bay are Nazi's, plain and simple! Thank God for Auction Arms! (we need a junk section here now...)

Bubba J DEERSLAYER40: Wouldn't "Fibber McGee's Closet" be a good place to list "junk"? Looks as there is a gaggle of non-gun related stuff there. I thought about listing my collection of shrunken heads there but was afraid that someone might recognize one of them and want to use it for target shooting. =0> I'm only kidding.

(no avatar) Foxfire Rod and Gun: If you have any real shrunken heads you apparently do not have much of a sense of smell or any visitors who do. I came into the possession of one real one several years ago. It stunk so bad that I could not take it in the house and I hauled in the back of my pickup. They are illegal to export from their place of origin and may be illegal to have. Seems that they don't want them natives to get into World Trade with them. If they were legal to export I don't think that I would like to deal directly with the people who make them as their market might exceed the available supply.
