| (no avatar) | I've opened two just for the heck of it. I blank them out in my mind so they don't exist for me any more, just like I do ads on TV. I have to be doing different things at one time to keep my focus in check. I'm reading a guns magazine, listening to to XM Radio and typing this now. Horse Trader |

| (no avatar) | To all-- for what it's worth if I were you I would look at as many banners as you have time for, and try and deal with as many as you can. These companies have paid good money to try and improve there business so lets all support them. It will help you and AA. Whats wrong with that. Tks |

Yone, as I stated many times, I have no problem with the banners themselves. MY problem was having to pay to NOT have them appear over my auction. I just don't like the idea of having a POTENTIAL competitor's banner ads appearing over my items for sale. Yes, the ads are good for AA's bottom line, and hopefully some flows into site improvement. I am SURE you would feel differently if you would were a seller on this site as well. As a buyer, it is not a problem. You ought to try selling once in a while, and when a banner appears over your auction, maybe you would feel differently, and then again, maybe not. |

| (no avatar) | THE ONES THAT OWN THE BANNER SHOULD BE PAYING US TO ADVERTISE ON OUR SALE SPACE. BUT AA OWNS IT TILL WE SELL THEN WE BUY THE TIME. BUT I DON'T THINK IT IS RIGHT TO HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM NOT TO ADVERTISE ON IT. |

The very point that AA makes is that it is NOT our sale space. We are only paying THEM for the listing, not the page. They can post advertising from whoever ponies up the bucks, and if the sellers don't like it, they have to buy that space themselves to eliminate the banners. Unfair world, yes, but it IS Manny's site after all, and as I was told, that's the way it is, PERIOD, end of discussion. Now, with the disclosure that the ads were at least PARTLY responsible for the slowdown of late, I can only hope that AA will find a way to maintain and improve instead of degrade. Right now speed is good, but the ads are VERY slow in coming up, not that I care anyway. |

| (no avatar) | In light of the changes that are likely because of the new ebay rules against listing gun parts it might be better to try and get some of the buyers and sellers from there HERE. I just checked the three pages of gun parts listings and found four items with actual bids. I did not make a judgement call on how over priced items were but just if there was a bid on the item. I have sold some stuff here and some stuff on ebay and have to admit that there were more active buyers on ebay. Some will say, well we are more knowledgeable here on AA, I would counter cheaper for sure but sellers have in the past gone where the money drew them. I plan on doing my part by listing a lot more items here and with reasonable prices, less than my web site or any catalog price. I would like to see this change in selling patterns pass without a lot of problems for sellers and buyers and a greatly increased market share for AA. |
