Thread Title: "New Communication Feature"
AuctionArmsCeo Buyers and sellers can now communicate with each other through the auction. Any messages sent between buyer and seller are now posted into the auction. We've found that sellers were having to repeatedly answer the same questions over and over, and by posting their reponse into the auction, they now answer everyone else's questions, too.

AIC Manny I think you just hit upon a compromise that even the hardest critic can live with, as well as the those who support the commutation system. I for one think this compromise may be better than the old way of doing things and much better than the big brother way. Because this compromise gives us users of AA more options and choices in how we talk. That equals freedom of choice, we can use it or not with it being shoved in our face.

Pappa Jim AuctionArmsCeo - Manny

I may not have made myself clear or I may have allowed room for my explanation to be misunderstood.

It was a direct response to your post 286 in which you asked "And what's this about lack of trust of sellers? Are we supposed to open our doors and let sellers do whatever they want, regardless of the consequences to everyone else?"

It was not ment as an attack in an effort to re fight the issue it was ment as an explanation of why many were so upset.

Again I know you and your staff work hard to provide the best site you can and while misunderstandings do occure we do appreciate all the hard work.

Petesguns AA CEO, thank you for removing the auto message pop up. Perhaps this will be workable. Mirandavold has expressed the REAL rasons that SO many people were upset. We WERE slapped in the face, intentionally or not. When dealing with a crowd like this, that is NOT going to be accepted well. Hopefully this will be better. Thanks for listening.

Petesguns Hopefully this latest modification will appease those of us who have been MIGHTILY offended by the changes. I will give credit for the fact that things are working well now. AA-Bob, Manny, et al, please just remember that the ONLY reason ANY of us gets our shorts in a twist about these things is because we love this site so, and consider it home. We WERE offended by the proffered reasons for the change, and hopefully it will now be better. OK.....Out of Rant mode on this subject! Thanks for being the best site out there, by FAR!

Petesguns miss.t, you are not alone.....I have had the same problems and have resorted to other means. Don't know what the problem is, but am sure AA will fix it soon.
