| (no avatar) | DON'T LIKE MY QUESTIONS BEING PUBLIC. I spend quite a bit of time researching what I look to buy. having my question public and answered public $UCKS. ALL THATS GOING TO HAPPEN NOW IS.... i WILL ASK NO QUESTIONS AND ONLY BID BASED ON INFO IN DISCRIPTION. give both the buyer and seller the option for it to be public. the way it is now, I think you have shoot yourself in the foot. |

| (no avatar) | This thing has me confused. Are messages--bid confirmations, winning confirmations, questions and such still going to be sent to our email accounts? All my records and files are set up in my email folders. If not I'm at a loss of what to do. Thanks--Greg |

| (no avatar) | I also have something like 174 unread messages upon login. Somewhat on the irritating side. I have better things to do with my time than go through pages of messages to mark them as read. Mark@SuperPawn |

| (no avatar) | Well Manny happenned up on a problem yesterday and worked on it . That is probably why all the old messages , all of a sudden showed up . He may have it fixed now , and if so , it will be a good thing once we get used to it . |

OK. Someone suggested that we include an indicator for unread messages in 'My Auctions' - it now exists under the WatchList number. Yes, the old messages are appearing in the message center because I brought a number of messages back from a log file. Sorry for the confusion, I didn't realize how many old emails we'd logged. You can use the 'Bulk Mark Read' to remove the messages in question. Still working on the Delete Button. Paragon50, your messages are only Public if you choose to make them so. Otherwide, the default setting it Private - which means only you and poster can see them. greg4, all other forms of email, notifications, bid confirmations through Auction Arm are unchanged. In the future, we will add those types of messages to the Message Center, but email will continue to be sent. I've reinstituted the confirmation email for those who use the contact system. If you used the confirmation email to make sure that our email system was working correctly, and as a way of keeping track of communiations within the auction, it's now back in place.
Still working on it folks - keep the suggestions coming... |

| (no avatar) | Manny FWIW, I have no problem with the system you designed. I still want an auto refresh though :) |
