| (no avatar) | Just another screen I have to click through. Almost like AOL, determining what my favorite sites are instead of me. (That's not a compliment.) |

Hi, Can I set the message page not to be the first page I see? I would rather look at it as needed. Also can you a program a button for delete all (on the message page)? I just had to delete 24 messages that were out of date, Thanks, Karl |

| (no avatar) | AA: Please add a spot on "my auctions" for the message inbox to show that a viewer has a message for us rather than a page that slows us down checking on our sales. Make it red for a un-read message for that item, so that we can click on that red Number to view it. If you are lost with this,Just call me at the shop. |

Someone is being creative. I've removed the messages in question from our system - and disabled all related accounts. Looks like a scammer from out of Australia. Sorry 'bout that - working on a permanent solution. In the meantime, let me know if you see anything else interesting. I'm working on some of your suggestions, so keep them coming. -manny |

| (no avatar) | Hi, a lot of you will know me as a buyer from the UK of fine Enfields. I've read all the posts and totally agree that the old system was fine. Most of you may remember the long email I always send to a seller to ask permission BEFORE bidding and to explain the process of being paid in US dollars by our US FFL dealer/BATF regulated exporter etc. The last thing I want is for all that personal information to be broadcast on the site. A couple of days ago I had to ask Mars_308 a question relating to one of his auctions and I was horrified to discover that it would be posted on the auction. I was unable to explain to him that I was in the UK and how we go about legally buying Enfields on AA, it would have been a bit of a shock to him had I won the auction without having had the opportunity to let him know. It certainly put me off bidding so I'm sure your seller's worries are justified, I would like to see the old system restored. If a seller wanted to use parts of my emails in their listing they could (as has been the case) but I do not want my questions to become public property - it's getting as bad as the UK gun laws! |
