MANNY BUILD A TOOL TO SEE WHAT GUNS ARE NOT SOLD THROUGH AA AND THEN NOT RELISTED THAT SHOULD SHOW YOU THE SELLERS THAT MIGHT BE PLAYING GAMES. YOU HAVE LOTS OF GOOD SELLERS ON THIS SITE THAT PLAY BY THE RULES AND FOR A FEW YOU ARE HURTING THE GOOD ONES YOU HAVE. BUT PUTTING THIS ON HURTS US AND PEOPLE CAN PUT NEGATIVE WORDS ON OUR ITEMS WHICH WILL HURT OUR SELLING PRICE. IF THATS DONE A LITTLE TO MUCH THEY MIGHT GO TEST THE WATERS ON ANOTHER SITE. |

I figure that the only way to keep from getting torpedoed by an unscrupulous person is to stop answering questions from bidders. Oh yeah, that will hurt us sellers. Oooops, answering the questions may also hurt us as well. Looks like we're betwixt a rock and a hard place don't it? Now what? Gotta be some better way, at least to disable the system you have just enacted, and work on it, no? |

| (no avatar) | I think that a seller should be required to answer an auction qustion with-in 24hrs.by E-MAIL This is a online auction,an not ph.auction I have had sellers that were just to busy to answer E-MAIL,or so they SAY? Those kind need fewer auctions to take care of |

Nice that you have made the question private, but still is no good in my eyes. Posting the answers that we give, not only will make no sense to any one who sees only the answers, but removes the possibility to be a bit blunt with someone who truly deserves it. These questions and answers are the property ONLY of the bidder and seller, in my humble opinion, and to eliminate the potential problem, I feel that maybe no questions will get answered. Sorry to disagree, but YOUR problem is still being made into OUR problem. Try harder please. Tom @ Petesguns |

| (no avatar) | I fail to see what is wrong with answering quistons someone might have on any auction Better to know before you bid |

Nothing wrong with answering questions......problem arises when any discussion between a bidder and seller becomes public. Anything I may have to say to a bidder in response to a question is purely between me and them. If Auction Arms wants to link to any emails to make sure that there is no off-line trading going on, fine, but NO ONE outside of AA staff or myself and a bidder has any need to know what is being discussed. Unfortunately, I feel strongly about this, and see no middle ground. Set up a review of emails by AA staff only, and I'll be happy, but John Q. Browser does not have any business in my customer discussions unless they are the one asking the question, PERIOD! |

Kinda like attorney client priveledge ain't it? As I see it, all this is going to do is reduce the number of questions that gets answered. Dosen't seem to be any help to anyone but AA! As I said before, there's gotta be a better way! |

| (no avatar) | I have always been told that AA can pull e-mails that go through the site , like any contacts made between seller or buyer or vice versa . Is this not sufficient to keep folks honest ? |
