| (no avatar) | I agree with the rest, not a good feature. A lot of times you need to be able to directly contact the customer and the communication has no business being made public. |

I'm not a big fan of it either, I'd kinda like it removed on my auctions. |

Naturally, we're open to suggestions on how we can make this better. The problem that we face is that there are folks out there using our system to conduct off-auction sales. Bad for Auction Arms as a company, and ultimately bad for all it's users. This new feature was designed to provide an open forum where questions about an item could be asked and answered, - not provide a running commentary on an item. I now completely understand how this could become a tool with which someone could sabotage a seller's auctions. What I'd like is some help with how we can provide the openness needed to keep everyone honest, while not providing a way for a black-hat to create a problem. -manny |

Not a good idea, guys. Way too much opportunity for a bidder to mess with the reputation of a seller, or the quality of their goods. Now, if a seller does not answer a question, I expect that it won't show up. That will result in the seller not answering questions, OR finding another way to contact the bidder to answer his question. TOTALLY, not a good idea. Find another solution to YOUR problem, that does not affect US. Sorry for the bluntness, but this really bites it big! Tom @ Petesguns |

MANNY BUILD A TOOL TO SEE WHAT GUNS ARE NOT SOLD THROUGH AA AND THEN NOT RELISTED THAT SHOULD SHOW YOU THE SELLERS THAT MIGHT BE PLAYING GAMES. YOU HAVE LOTS OF GOOD SELLERS ON THIS SITE THAT PLAY BY THE RULES AND FOR A FEW YOU ARE HURTING THE GOOD ONES YOU HAVE. BUT PUTTING THIS ON HURTS US AND PEOPLE CAN PUT NEGATIVE WORDS ON OUR ITEMS WHICH WILL HURT OUR SELLING PRICE. IF THATS DONE A LITTLE TO MUCH THEY MIGHT GO TEST THE WATERS ON ANOTHER SITE. |
