| (no avatar) | I just checked the RESERVE catogery for Collectable Ammunition at 6:48 PM. There are 147 open RESERVE items listed 10 have bids. Only one has met the RESERVE price. One items has a $10.00 opening bid price and a $250.00 'BUY IT NOW' price. That is the reason that Auction Arms is setting a charge for reserve bid items. If realistic openings on the items were offered more items would sell, but just listing an item to show it off is a waste of space on this auction site. I'm glad that Auction Arms is trying to clean up the game playing. Bill |

| (no avatar) | Compatriot, Why not just list them without a reserve at a price you are willing to sell them for. Then your listings will be free unless they sell. I honestly think reserve auctions turn bidders off. I bet if you did that and compared last month with reserve auctions with a new month without reserves, you will find a higher rate of sell. Long ago I did some experimenting with auctions in this regard and with what I discovered I now never list reserve auctions. You might be pleasantly surprised if you give it a try. John |

Compatriot, fees for reserve auctions will not be charged to your account unless the reserve style auction closes without selling. Why not try texastradingpost suggestion and avoid reserve charges, Just start a basic auction at the price you would sell the item at. |

| (no avatar) | IS IT JUST ME OR IS THIS NEW 25 CENT ADDITIONAL LISTING FEE FOR OVER 200 ITEMS JUST A NEW WAY TO RUN OFF MORE SMALL VOLUME SELLERS FROM THIS SITE WHICH AS I RECALL WAS ORIGINALLY SET UP TO HELP AND SERVE THE SMALL SELLER..SIMPLY PUT..I SELL GUN PARTS AT MUCH LESS THEN GUN PARTS CORP.,ETC.AND MANY OF THESE ARE REALLY SCARCE,HARD TO FIND ITEMS AND PEOPLE ARE OFTEN GLAD THAT I HAD THEM TO LIST FOR SALE..BUT BASED ON THIS ADDITIONAL FEE I,LL ONLY BE ABLE TO LIST SOME PARTS FOR ABOUT A DOZEN DIFFERENT MODELS WHICH DOESN,T ALLOW FOR MUCH OF A SELECTION AND REALLY DOESN,T HELP ME OR AUCTION ARMS MAKE ANY MONEY..MY QUESTION IS..WHO THOUGHT UP THIS STUPID IDEA ?? AND WHY DID MANNY GO ALONG WITH IT..IT WOULD SEEM THAT HE,D WANT PEOPLE OFFERING PARTS FOR SALE ON HIS SITE THAT PEOPLE REALLY NEED AND ARE TRYING TO FIND WITHOUT PAYING AN ARM AND A LEG FOR..BOTTOM LINE IF THIS DOESN,T CHANGE I,LL HAVE TO MOVE ON TO GREENER PASTURES..LET ME HEAR FROM YOU SMALL SELLERS THAT ARE GETTING SCREWED BY THIS NEW FEE...RISINGSUN |

You can probably receive a waiver from Auction Arms as long as you don't list more than one of the same item. Contact them, they are easy to work with, and great guys to deal with. |
