Thread Title: "New Auction Arms Appraisal Service"
AuctionArmsCeo Auction Arms is proud to announce a new partnership between AuctionArms.com, Inc. and Accredited Appraisal Services, Inc. Accredited Appraisal Services, Inc. is run by Joseph M. Cornell, CMA, ASA, ISA, and Mr. Cornell has the unusual distinction of being the only accredited and certified firearms specialty appraiser in the world.

With over 30 years of experience doing appraisals, Joseph M. Cornell, CMA, ASA, ISA has been awarded the professional designation of Certified Master Appraiser by the International Appraiser's Guild, Accredited Senior Appraiser by the American Society of Appraisers, and Accredited Member by the International Society of Appraisers.

If you do any amount of snooping into the backgrounds of other online appraisal services, you come to the conclusion that they aren't in fact doing appraisals at all, and are certainly not qualified to make that claim. In fact, one of the largest appraisal services that we looked into - one that is endorsed by eBay - has only the barest idea of what an appraisal is, and for firearms appraisals uses someone who's only qualifications are that he is "the son of a gunsmith." Unimpressive, to say the least.

We have no such qualms about recommending Accredited Appraisal Services, Inc. and it's founder - Joseph M. Cornell, CMA, ASA, ISA. We highly recommend Mr. Cornell, and if you are looking for someone with the integrity and experience that profession requires, Mr. Cornell is your man.

CEO - AuctionArms.com, Inc.

(no avatar) Gentlemen: I would especially like to thank Auction Arms for selecting me as their "in-house" appraiser. Its a special honor to be associated with the best auction company in the USA!! I am the appraiser, Joe Cornell, CMA, ASA, ISA. I would like to thank everyone, who has contacted me about doing work for them, and a special thanks to the many of you, who have used my services. A comment about appraising items that cannot be seen seems to be appropriate. Some of you have asked me about this. Appraisals on items that have not been seen are very common and well accepted in the appraisal profession, in the courts, insurance companies, and all users of appraisals. A special set of appraisal standards is used. It happens when an item is stolen, or damaged by fire, or any occurrence that makes the item difficult or impossible to see. This includes when it is impractical, because of distance or expense, for the appraiser to see the item. I hope that this will help explain this aspect of appraising, and I look forward to being of service to you. Please support AA and its management, for only through your help will AA continue to be the very best. Joe Cornell, CMA, ASA, ISA
