Thread Title: "WE WIN!!!"
AuctionArmsCeo Today the Supreme Court of these United States ruled that the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution protects and individual right to keep and bear arms. I'm so relieved that law has caught up with reality. I'm going to remember this day forever...

Hagrid Eldorado, You have read the headlines now read the rest of the story. How much of the ban did they remove. If they followed the SJCs decision, you can have it in your home only. If they follow DC, You can't own a semi-auto. You will probably have to buy a license at what fee?I would like you to tell me, if I buy a gun at a gun shop in DC that is 20 miles from my house and as the law reads now, I can't possess out side of my home, How do I get it home? You guys seem to be missing the forest for the trees. The only thing you got from the decision is the Statement that the 2nd means individual rather than collective rights and no trigger locks at home, Period. If the State says you can't own a 6" Smith, you can't own one.If they say you can own a handgun outside the home but it must have a 40lb trigger pull then thats it.They can micro stamp, register, force you to attend front sight at 2000.00 a pop. or any other nightmare scenerio you or they can dream up and it is all legal. Ask the Supreme court. Trapper

(no avatar) Trapper.......The National Rifle Association has signaled it also will challenge the new D.C. regulation, describing the law as extreme and in "complete defiance of the Supreme Court's decision."

Let's see who wins that round.

I know it's all a bunch of crap but the Supreame Court only had the authority to rule on what was in front of them in the Heller case. We will now begin the war with many battles to come, but the fact remains that we now have case law established to win these battles whereas before we didn't.

Hang on kids cause it's gonna be a long bumpy ride.

circlei Wake up children! The founding fathers provided everything you need to make sure tyrannical government does not strip you of your rights as free men...everything except... the COHONES* to USE what they provided: "THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS..." Can you imagine if our founding fathers were still debating whether to sign the declaration of independence? Those men had COHONES to sign a document that rendered them traitors by the world power at the time. They were signing their own death warrants. they proved they had COHONES...BIG COHONES, by signing their name to that document that created the greatest nation on earth. Now we have come full circle. We are enslaved by tyrannical government that destroys a bit of our liberties every day by trampling the constitution that our fathers and uncles and brothers fought and died for. You can talk and talk and write and vote and fax and email and post and beg and grovel and bribe but, in the end, you have one means to take back what has already been lost to tyranny...the right and duty provided in the second amendment. That is what the founding fathers knew you would need...GUNS! The fact you are not willing to use them in defense of your liberties is the big problem. Tyrannical government is simply a bunch of criminal thugs raping, pillaging and plundering as it eats out your substance. There has always been one way to deal with criminals but since we are a nation of cowards, the outlook for freedom and true liberty is GRIM at best. It will only get worse. There is always hope but, it won't be like our forefathers pictured with mighty men rising up in arms to break the chains of tyranny. The courts are so corrupt they are a lost cause and a stench in the nostrils of true justice! Congress along with most government believes it is the master...NOT the servant of the people as the constitution requires. So, what is left? Rotten government is like a cancer, it needs to be eradicated but who can wield the knife to cut it out? The people need a surgeon to defeat the cancer but where is such a physician to be found? *COHONES: [ Cohones Spanish slang for testicles, balls, nuts. Normally said in reference to someones bravery or "guts" The American "tunnel rats" in Vietnam had some big cohones ]

(no avatar) I agree with all of you guys but I carry a weapon of some sort with me whereever I go ! I being a disabled Viet Nam Vet have earned that right `1 I dont have a permit and I wont register any of my weapons except the P89 Ruger that my wife bought for me 15 years ago. I feel that I cannot in good conscious go out in the "WORLD" with my wife without being able to defend our rights and liberties against some drugged out hoodlum or some crack head looking for money to get his dope !

(no avatar) YOU KNOW, I NOTICED THAT BUG MAN IS WORRIED ABOUT TRANSPORTING A FIREARM FROM THE DEALER IN DC TO THE HOME IN DC BECAUSE THE LAW WAS ONLY AFFIRMED FOR POSSESSION OF A GUN IN YOUR HOME. WITH A REVOLVER, YOU REMOVE THE CYLINDER FROM THE FRAME. WITH A SEMI- AUTO YOU REMOVE THE CLIP AND DISASSEMBLE AS YOU WOULD FOR CLEANING. YOU NO LONGER HAVE A "GUN" IN YOUR POSESSION. YOU HAVE A COLLECTION OF GUN PARTS THAT YOUR TRANSPORTING!
