| (no avatar) | I've been reading all these comments and have mixed emotions about all this.
The first thing I did was watch my auctions to see what was up. A banner at the top with 4 different ads rotating, if you push the refresh button. How many banners are there? I don't know - so, I thought about it some more. I even clicked on each one to get AA some credits and learned something about the Henrys, Silverados, Hillbilly Custom Rifles and LLBean. My conclusion - it's AA web site to do with as they please - they've given us the sellers notice. Better than some - the ads would have just popped up and many of us would proably never have known the difference. AA is entitled to a profit, even if they are making the BIG $s. And if they can draw more potential customers to the AuctionArms web site through this new scheme - that's GREAT - for you, me and AA. I would like to make one suggestion about the banners. I've noticed when you click on some it takes you immeadiately to the 'other web site' wipping out the current AuctionArms auction and some open a new browser instance leaving our auctions intact. I'd like to see all the banners open a new instance of the browser and leave the AuctionArms auctions intact. |

| (no avatar) | Is it just me or is AA very slow loading these past few days? |

kats, the ad banners number will be dynamic from day-to-day as advertisers join and drop off and as campaigns open and end. Advertisers will vary among those who want advertising exposure to our good users. When you click on an advertiser's banner, you should experience a new instance of your browser open to display the advertiser's link. When you are through, you can merely close that instance of your browser and the page you were on at AuctionArms will still remain in your original browser window. If you notice a difference from what is expected post a notice here. |

| (no avatar) | Not just you BPCR. I have dumped cookies and everything I know to do and I get wore out on trying to use the site. All other sites including GUN BROKER are lightning fast , AA is snail slow and half the time I totally lose it when trying to review bids. Time to upgrade software. |

| (no avatar) | I have also noticed the SSLLLOOOOOWWWWW down of the AA Site. First I thought that it was my computer, but now I see that other users of AA have the same problem! It takes too long to add new items. Shoppers and Buyers will get frustrated and leave AA for the other two sites. Why is it so slow ??? What's happening ??? |

it happens on the forum home page: http://www.auctionarms.com/help/forum/forum.cfm It was the ad for Hillbilly Custom Rifles . The silverado one dosen't do it. The Hillbilly Custom Rifles ad just appeared on this page and when I clicked on it it walked on the AA page again. The Heny ad just came up and it walk on the AA page also - but the silverado one dosen't. |
