So finding myself in the position of trying to enforce rules with the implementation of code is only useful in that I know how those rules can be subverted - but I find the process of preventing it annoying as hell. In the end, I'm only interested in making this marketplace the best it can be. Which doesn't necessarily mean peering over everyone's shoulders to make sure they're doing the right thing. Worrying about that kind of stuff only waste my, and my staff's time. And I've got better things to do.

So you have my unqualified apology. It was never my intent to generate any distrust regarding our new messaging system. So, if you don't want to use it, you'll never need to see it again - as it no longer appears when you log in. There are a lot of folks using it to overcome many of the problems I've mentioned in previous posts - so I can't get rid of it, now. It was a direct response to your post 286 in which you asked "And what's this about lack of trust of sellers? Are we supposed to open our doors and let sellers do whatever they want, regardless of the consequences to everyone else?"

It was not ment as an attack in an effort to re fight the issue it was ment as an explanation of why many were so upset.
