| (no avatar) | I have sampled the mail you are getting on this new feature and decided to add my own perspective. Several weeks ago, when we returned from vacation after almost 3 weeks I saw an item that looked interesting. I queried a seller on that item. I know him quite well through AA and included a couple of personal items. Lo and behold, this message hit the auction item for all to see. I apologized to him and will probably not use this feature any more. My suggestion: Put a box on the message entry panel to click on and send the message via normal email as you used to do and let your users decide which way to go. Regards, BobInWis |

Ok, BobInWis - let me bring you up to speed. Now, when you send a message to the seller it's marked Private - unless the seller chooses to make your question and his response (Public). Default setting is that your question is private. That means that even though your question appears in the auction, it only appears for you and him - no one else can see it unless it's made public. By the seller. When you ask a question, the seller gets both a message via email, and a message via the Auction Arms message center. Redundancy, see? Mars_308, I'm working on the delete feature, even as we speak. Should have it in place by the end of the week.
NYNN444, if you sent the message through our system, we've got a copy. Let me know when the message got sent, and to who. |

NYNN444, yer a genius - $50 to you. Your little clue led me on a wonderful journey of self-discovery and joy - of spaghetti-code straining proportions. Check your messages again, and let me know what you think. -manny |

| (no avatar) | Manny ; I checked and my outgoings are still not showing up .I really don't care , as long as ya'll have a record , but I do like to print them out and keep in my file , in case a problem ever arises , like I have going on now , with a seller. |

NYNN444 - I just used your account and clicking on From Me - Unread AND From Me - Read, and found 39 and 6 messages respectively. Were there more than that? -manny |

| (no avatar) | AA; I like the Number system that you have in the "my auctions" for the watch. It's very helpfull. I asked a while back if a column could be added just like it for "messages waiting" in RED for unread messages on their perspective auction, so that we could just click on that number to see the message rather than be directed to a broad message form.... What the heck is that? bids...watch...MESSAGES.... get the idea. |

NYNN444 - are you talking about getting copies of messages you sent to other people in your email as confirmation? -manny |
