| (no avatar) | AA CEO Dumb question #1 Why does it say in blue type"remove post" after my name when I responded to a thread? Dumb question #2 How does a Thread Administrator remove a thread? |

r squared - there's no such thing as a dumb question, only dumb answers! ;-) Actually, both are good questions. When you post a response in a thread, you have the option of removing your post, or editing it. The Thread Admin has a link that appears next to all posts that are in any thread started by that person. It's the Thread Admin's job to keep the rudeness and stupidity to a dull roar, so we give them the ability to control it.
Hope that covers it for you. |

| (no avatar) | Hi. I've been lurking for a while. I am tracking an auction that I want to bid on. It was supposed to close this afternoon, but when I checked just now, it had been extended for a week. Is that normal? I can't find anything in the rules about extending the closing date. I prefer to bid late so that I don't contribute to a feeding frenzy. Maybe I need to show the seller someone is interested, eh? - Jim |

| (no avatar) | I’m new here, so I don’t have any feedback. Without feedback, the buyers are in the dark about who they are dealing with. It’s understandable that you don’t want to advertise the competition on your auction board. Do you make an exception for a seller to refer to feedback on Brand X board to see seller feedback? Thanks. |

| (no avatar) | JamesRK: First, welcome aboard and we are glad to have you join the family. I wish you much success in your endeavors here on AA. "I" do not have ANY problem with you, and/or, anyone with zero feedback bidding on any of my auctions, and welcome you to do so. Yes, some sellers require X amount of feedback to bid on their auctions, and I can understand the reasons. Most of the problems that a seller has is with persons with zero feedback, soome of which are just placing a bid for the fun of it. To respond to your question, I've seen some new buyers with no feedback state that they have X amount of feedback on eBay. However, "I" would say that you DO NOT want to mention any Firearm Auction site, for, that defintely is a no-no. Again, welcome to Auction Arms, and I wouldn't worry about the Zero Feedback, we all started at the same place. |
