And that is the beauiful thing about the free market, everyone can choose when, where, how, and with whom they will have commerce. Side note, I see you didn't bother to use your spelling and grammer check. "doge ... fond." I guess that means, um, well, gee, I don't really know what it means. |

I just love having the freedom of choice and will agree with you on this point. That is why I have chosen to market my wares on several different sites other than this one. The results have been very pleasing to this point. This is not to say that I'll never again list anything for auction/sale here either. Ahhhh Grasshopper, I see you are very observant tonight. I'll have to admit that I did not use spell check on that post. I was in a hurry to get in front of the TV and watch the Sprint Cup Race. I'll try to do better next time. Bubba J

carbob - Spelling doesn't seem to be as much a problem as homonyms, i.e., words which sound the same but which have different spellings and meanings. It seems no one knows the difference between such words as "their" (possesive pronoun), "there" (adverb), and "they're" (contraction for "they are") anymore. Unfortunately, unless you have a very good spellcheck program which checks spelling in context, you can spell the word correctly but it's one which means something else. And that's our lesson for today, boys and girls. |

mountainhunter - I thought that you may be interested in the following definitions from Merriam-Webster. I can't seem to denote anything which sounds similar to Carl Marx, only reads like good old American entrepreneurship to me. cap·i·tal·ismnoun\'ka-p?-t?-?liz-?m, 'kap-t?-, British also k?-'pi-t?-\ Definition of CAPITALISM: an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market
free marketnounDefinition of FREE MARKET: an economic market operating by free competition
free marketnoun
plural ∼ -kets
[count] : an economic market or system in which prices are based on competition among private businesses and not controlled by a government.
1pri·vateadj \'pri-v?t\Definition of PRIVATE : not having shares that can be freely traded on the open market private company>Earl C. Wallace · State University of New York at Albany
Capitalism allows us to use our God-given abilities, gifts, talents and creativity to innovate goods and services that others are willing to pay us a profitable price to enjoy. Entrepreneurs and business owners share the profits as salaries and benefits with employees.
Example:
If more and more people buy the goods and services, businesses hire more and more people, who also obtain salaries and benefits. Thus capitalism provides for situations of the unlimited growth of prosperity. Bubba J
