Thread Title: "What do you think?"
AuctionArmsCeo What do you think of the Auction Arms forums? We thought about this question for a long time before coming to the conclusion that we needed to write our own forum in-house. The problem is that integrating someone else's discussion software was just as complicated as writing it from scratch - and we had a few requirements that absolutely had to be met before we would have something like a forum at Auction Arms.

I like it as you can check any thread that has a current reply to see if you are involved in any of them without going to each individual thread to check.

Since I otherwise don't have a life, I read all of the forums every day, so that new feature doesn't make much difference to me.

brainaxe, are you asking me to jump in the middle of a little feud?  I was hoping (perhaps vainly) that cooler heads would prevail, and everyone could learn to play together in the same sandbox.  Because it seems like everyone is trying to make mountains out of molehills.

Manny, I just think that the language used by BFK steps way over the line.

After all, some of us got time-outs for using the word "moron", back at the inception of the TimeOut.

You do know what the phase means, that BFK is using, right??

Thank you BOB. And, Manny, this isn't a "little feud" this is a concerted effort from the "left" using useful idiots to cause animous, and, turmoil among us , so they can use the "WORDS" from our posts edited to hell and back to bolster the anti gun lobby.

This is NOT just happining on AA/GA. Of the 10+ GUNSITES I frequent, they are everywhere. This is a TROJAN HORSE, that has crept into our camp, looking to piss people off, so they can use OUR words AGAINST us.

I know you are a smart man, as well as your staff, BUT, in all that you are trying to do to recover AA's/GA's reputation, roll out a new site, sometimes the OBVIOUS, at least to the users, gets OVERLOOKED by the by the "guys running the nuthouse".

We as users, don't have that pressure, so, the things that appear "mondane" to you guys, we see collectivlly as an asault, that you have overlooked, not by choice, just, to busy "keeping the lights on", to notice. JMO..........WALI.......................
