Thread Title: "Eaglesnest has hit a rough patch"
AA-bob It is with a heavy heart that I write this post. I spoke with Candy Brown-Wheatley this morning and it appears Leo has hit a tough spot and is in the hospital:

Leo, you are one of the good guys and will be in our prayers. Can't hold a good cat down for long! I know you'll be back with the herd soon!

Pappa Jim I'm sorry to hear about Leo, I hope his family can take a little compfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering.

Leo did get to see all his family before he left .

The end was peaceful without suffering .

A lot is to be said for Candy and his family for bringing him home and sticking with him , so that he could see everybody one more time .

A lot is to be said for the "EAGLE" for fighting so hard to hang on to see his family one more time .

Of course , those of us that knew him expected nothing less .

HE WAS TRULY AN OLD WARRIOR . I MISS HIM .

(no avatar) Until a few minutes ago, I'd never heard of Leo, so didn't know of him personally: I've just read through all the comments & kind of feel like I DO now. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he & my Pop weren't out hunting in Heaven this New Years' Eve. GOD BLESS
