Folks, as nynn444 mentioned above, AIC has been kind enough to put up a couple of really nice premium pieces at Penny Auction for the benefit of the Eaglesnest Medical Expense fund raiser. Here are a couple links that'll make it easier to link to these auctions.

| (no avatar) | Dear AA and All that touched my Eagle, First I must say that the Eagle was a very prideful man and I do not know about restraint (Petesguns) however you did hit it on the head when you said plain total class. I think (Nynn 444) said it best, that he was an Old Warrior. That he was. When I first contacted (Nynn 444) I really wasn't sure what the Ole Eagle had told anyone as I said he was a prideful man. I know he did not want me near AA. There were times he did show me e-mails and photo's and the joy I received in my heart when he was so sick after a Kemo treatment and the laughter that would come from the office filled me with happiness. He has been so blessed to have you all in his life and he knew it. The surprise on his face when he realized the cap sent by AA had been signed by all and boy did I have fun with the cat card. It was purrfect! I hung the card and cap over his bed for all to see. I am so thankful to (Nynn 444 and Lynn,) the Eagle had a special place in his heart for all but he thought Nynn 444 was a pretty special guy. When Nynn 444 told me about the Cathearder special I had to shed a tear or two just as I did when I saw that the Cathearder Special had been sold. (Thanks Bob)I could not have gotten in without your help. I only wish he could have seen the out pour of support. He would have loved that (someone) had put up his original ad. He spent many hours on each gun, taking just the right photo and saying just the right words no one could ever guess what a prefectionist he was. I pray that God will bless each and everyone of you that helped to make this auction such a success and thank you again from the bottom of my heart for the good times, the growl times and the roll in the floor times you gave to Leo! I think I can safely say that we would be honored if you kept taking part in our forums . First , it keeps the "EAGLESNEST" name alive . And second ; Some of us need a good firm "WOMANS" point of view , every now and then to keep us in line . He enjoyed the friendships that he has with all of you and you all made him smile with the hat that was sent to him. We would also like to thank you for your gracious efforts with the auctions. Candy is a wonderful person and is very strong. She and Shannon (eaglesnest daughter) stayed by his side day and night for the last few months and they worked endlessly to make him feel loved. I am eaglesnest son-in-law and I am amazed by the generosity of the Auction Arms family. We just wanted to say God bless you all, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. eaglesnest II |

We would like to keep "Eagles" name active on the site .Makes for good memories . Although I never met any of you in person , I feel I know you . Leo was an asset to this site and he is missed . He was a good man . Always one of the first to welcome new members and always willing to help anyone out .But at the same time he had enough grit to bow up on someone that got out of line .
