Finally got all my auctuions listed but not without the site kicking and screaming the whole way. Gets old real quick, especially when there are too many demands on one's time. Guess we get spoiled when something we pay for actually works like it is supposed to, and when it hits the fan, we get (rightly) po'd. |

We have determined the problem with Item posting the past couple days. AA-Manny and AA-Mike are at the Network Operation Center double-teaming the server as I type this. The two customer functions that may have been affected were/are the item posting process and end of auction announcement. They should be recovered within the hour (posting this at 15:01 PDST). Thank you Bob, BUT, this whole situation BEGS the question WHY do these things keep happening? Are there updates being added, a hacker screwing with the system, unintended consequences from some OTHER event, or simply a breakdown in the servers? It is very puzzling to a non computer literate person why the system works faster than greased lightning one day, and the next is a stone. Can you, or WILL you, answer this? Thanks |

Man, this ios sorta like Amos askin' Andy. LOL! While I'm about the last guy in the world you should be asking technology questions of, I do know this last slow down was the result of "sumptin in the server not doin' what it was 'possed to" and it got pulled and replaced. Not a hacker or anything nefarious.
How is it running for you now? |
