Thread Title: "New "Manage My Pictures" feature"
AA-bob In response to many requests from our good customers (thank you!), we have now added a feature to Manage My Pictures that will allow you to bulk upload 10 pictures at a time. This is a "first step" iteration and will be further fine-tuned and enhanced.

The issue of picture uploading (and the time it takes) remains a concern and it is "the" bottleneck/constraint to our sellers running more auctions. We are looking at several possible technical and procedure solutions and enhancements to reduce the pain and overhead of the whole picture uploading and management problem.

Try out this new feature and let us know how it works. In the meantime...Stand by for further improvement in this area.

AuctionArmsCeo Willie TA, called me and brought it to me attention that if you used the new picture tool to add pictures to your auction, it wiped out the existing thumbnail. This is the result of a code update from Friday, so I've refunded all charges for Thumbnails from Friday till now. I've also fixed the problem, so I apologize for any trouble this might have caused.

(no avatar) Learned something new...If you are using a combination of the old system and the new system, the "new" AA pictures will load BEFORE the "upload your pictures" if you add them after the auction is created. In other words, if you used the old system to post ten pictures and then you decide to add a picture later, the "new" picture will be the first picture in your auction. Not a huge deal, but something worth mentioning to the linear thinking. See auction 7692146 as an example. The first four pictures on the auction were added after the auction was scheduled.

AuctionArmsCeo Yeah, that's actually a flaw. I'm working on a solution for it. What's happening is in the event that the ten spaces for picture in the auction are used up, the remaining pictures are appended to the description. Well, the description appears before the ten pictures slots, so it you upload more than ten pictures, you could have a couple pictures appearing before your official 'first' pictures. Sorry 'bout that - should have something worked out.

AuctionArmsCeo Alrighty, I think I've got it figured out. Now the pictures appear in the correct order. At least they do in my test auctions - let me know if I've gummed up the appearance of something....

(no avatar) Okay, where are the pictures? I've looked at my watch list and the pictures are gone. Any info?

AuctionArmsCeo Did you add the pictures to an auction? Once the pictures are added to an auction, they're removed from 'My Pictures'.
