Thread Title: "New Picture sizing feature and pic display option speeds up auction browse"
AA-bob New feature notice.... We now automatically size all uploaded pictures larger than 600 pixels wide to 600 pixels wide. That cuts down on the download time for buyers. And we've also added the ability for folks to set a cookie that changes the default display of pictures. In other words, if you have a slow connection, you can opt to NOT display pictures, and view them individually. Comments?... -Bob

(no avatar) Lately the pictures I send to AA have not been showing up very well on the actual auction page. I have sized them 1024x768 but all seem to have jagged lines and are not of good quality pix, they look fine on my computer.

(no avatar) What photo program are ya'll using to edit your photos? I use photoshop, click save for the web which downsizes the pic, no problem. I'm very happy with quailty of the pics on my auctions.

WILLIE TA

THIS IS DIRECTED TO 55CORVETTE. AS A SELLER ON THIS SITE I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH PUTTING THE PIC'S ON AND EVEN MAKING IT AS MUCH AS 26 PICS IN ONE AUCTION ON SOME OF THE GUNS I LIST.

THE SITE HAS MADE IT VERY EASY FOR PEOPLE THEY CAN HIT THE BOX THAT SAYS HIDE PICS. IF THEY HAVE A SLOW SYSTEM. NOW I THINK THIS IS THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY AND A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE A DSL OR CABLE LINE TO THEIR MODEM ON THEIR COMPUTER.

AS FAR AS PUTTING PICS ON I CAN PUT 10 PICS ON AN AUCTION IN ABOUT 45 SECONDS SO HOW SLOW IS THAT? I AM SURE I DO A LOT MORE AUCTIONS THAN YOU AND I HAVE NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. IF YOU NEED HELP I AM ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. JUST SEND A E MAIL ON ONE OF MY AUCTIONS. HAVE A GREAT DAY!
