Suggestion to all who are experiencing this (continuous) problem that they email AA-bob direct to complain. I believe that AA put a new server into service a few months ago, so there really is no excuse for this to happen. A short while ago, AA tried mightily to attract many of eBay's disenfranchised customers. Well, some came over, but the best gain was several improvements that we had been clamoring about for years. The changes only came when it was seen as a way to attract eBayers who were used to more features in a site. Now that the eBay emmigration is over, perhaps AA can get down to REAL business and improve what they have as far as reliability is concerned. I can truly say that there is nothing more frustrating than travelling 30 miles to my shop 5 hours before my normal opening time to list auctions and then continually, (this past time and MANY others), encountering one reason or another why it can't be done, none of which exist on other sites. PLEASE, AA, this is a great site, but these continual outages and half baked fixes will continue to erode at your customer confidence levels until there is no one left to turn off the lights. Sometimes it sure does seem like the rest of the world is on turbocharged servers while AA plugs along on squirrel treadmill powered ones! LOL! Seriously though, please try to get these outages to go away. AA-bob, just read your post and SERIOUSLY hope you do have it fixed. Please, however, try to get out of the "Ready, Fire, Aim" mode and check these additions out BEFORE you implement them. This has been a weakness of AA in the past, and I hope ONE of these days you will thoroughly test drive these improvements before you let them out of their cages. Thanks. |

This whole weekend has been a big waste of time trying to list auctions. I hope the problem gets fixed pretty quickly. How about an update on the problem |

Fortunately, my auctions this week got listed purely through trying again and again and again. Hope you can wait for them to fix whatever the heck it is that is bugging the system. They are losing money as well as all of the sellers that can't post, but as long as they keep making "improvements" without thorough OFF SITE testing, these "unintended consequence" problems will continue to be a plague upon this site. |

Probably be fixed right about the time AA's bank account starts to run dry from lack of auctions being posted! LOL!!! Seriously though, a DEADLY serious question that demands a timely answer. AA??????????????????? |

I'm having the same issues. Got about 1/4 of my normal work done this weekend and I really need the cash flow right now!! Lots of time spent in front of the computer with very little to show for the effort. This is not making Jack a happy camper, nor my consignees that are counting on me. Makes me look lazy. GROWL |

jackthedog, I predict that as soon as it starts affecting AA's cash flow, we may see a fix. 'Till then it's simply SNAFU around here! I complain about these things and all I typically get is a nasty email from AA-bob chastizing me for my dour attitude! Oh well, I'm a big boy, I can take it. Come on AA, FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
