| (no avatar) | Got an e-mail from Leo's wife today . Leo is fighting hard to come home . Candy said they had a schedule worked out with-in the family to rotate someone staying with him . That will give her some rest .She was supposed to be at home tonight and wanted me to call her .When I called there was no answer , only the answering machine . I hope she was just getting some rest and this doesn't mean EAGLE has gotten worse .I will post as soon as I hear more . Send a prayer or two up for the OLD MARINE . |

| (no avatar) | Talked to Candy this morning and Leo tried to talk but can't talk loud enough to hear over phone . Candy talked to Lynn and me for a long time . Leo "EAGLESNEST" came home . He is fighting hard to spend Christmas with his family . Let's all pray that it is God's will that he can do that . Anyone needing to reach them can use the address Bob has posted in thread body . |

I mentioned to her that some of us kind of wanted to sell a few guns to help them out with expenses . She started crying and said she understood now , why Leo thought so much of this site and it's members .I think we may can work this out . Bob will work with us on it . |

| (no avatar) | I am putting up the "CAT HERDER SPECIAL " Remington 12-c 22 cal. I got from Leo sometime back . Some of you remember the fun we had on the forums talking about it . It's the one he test fired out the back door , down towards the woods the night he put it on auction . And the next morning found two of his cats dead . We had a lot of fun talking about that on the forums . When he sent it to me , he sent a "LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY " with it . Very official looking . I would not consider parting with it , but I feel the money received from it will do more good helping with some of his expenses , rather than it standing in my closet .I will try to get it on auction tonight . |
