| Comments: Prior to posting this notice, I conferred with Manny of Auction Arms and he agrees that this gentleman merits a NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. =========================================================== I must respectfully disagree with the assessments of this buyer indicated by the other feedbacks. My dealings with "SKS" (a.k.a., John; countryemporium @usa.net)in Illinois were **ENTIRELY NEGATIVE**. "SKS" had high bid (made the reserve) on my auction of Item # 2576072803 (Romanian AK-47), which closed on May 22. He acknowledged my end-of-auction notice and sent me the name of his FFL dealer for shipment. A couple of days later he sent an email **BACKING OUT OF OUR DEAL**. Said he had "bought too many guns lately" and that Big Brother (the State of Illinois) is "monitoring his gun purchasing activity". Well, "SKS"/John must not be TOO concerned about that, since I find (aren't Search Engines wonderful?) he is **STILL BIDDING ON ASSAULT RIFLES AND OTHER FIREARMS** on Auction Arms and other gun-related sites as well. Based on my experience with him, it is my personal opinion that "SKS"/John is probably **NOT A TRUTHFUL OR HONORABLE PERSON**. He is,in my view, apparently one of those guys who refuses to take responsibility for his own actions and, worse, one whose personal word is of highly questionable value. |
