Comments: THIS PISTOL WOULD ONLY FEED BALL AMMO. HAD TO HAVE IT HONED AND POLISHED SO IT WOULD ACCEPT ALL AMMO. GUNSMITH TOLD ME THAT IT APPEARED THAT SOMEONE HAD ALREADY ATTEMPTED TO DO THIS. A LOADED, TOP OF THE LINE ITEM FROM SPRINGFIELD SHOULD NOT NEED THIS WORK. SELLER SHOULD HAVE NOTED THIS.

Rebuttal: FROM AUCTION TEXT,"The firearms offered have not been test fired but have been given a visual inspection only for auction purposes".your feedback reads" A LOADED, TOP OF THE LINE ITEM FROM SPRINGFIELD SHOULD NOT NEED THIS WORK."why not call springfield,i,m sure they would have a good answer for you

Comments: Overall the gun was nice on the outside but the stock was mis-sanded from a previous recoil pad installation and the bores were pitted and had been honed, neither of these conditions were described all though the gun was described as "great bores" and "no rust or pitting" - very obvious conditions.
