Comments: AOS described the item as: "This pistol is New with...." While gun is nice, it is certainly not in "NEW" condition. Gun fired more than factory test firing as the bore was dirty (recent) and there are firing pin indentations from improper dry firing. 2 grip screws buggered. Not New - or even mint.

Rebuttal: If you were not satisfied with the gun then the proper thing to do would have been to send us an e-mail giving us a chance to make it right. If we made a mistake listing it ,we would have taken the gun back and given you a full refund without any problem at all.Sorry you did not give us that chance.

Comments: Pistol listed as C&R but after further research it was discovered that it wasn't. I was unable to complete purchase since pistol now had to meet Cal safety req. for modern handguns unlike C&R classed handguns. Once we discovered the error they were very understanding, and gave a full refund.

Rebuttal: A 1939 Chinese Shansei Arsenal.45 Cal. Broomhandle Pistol originaly made for and used by the Chinese Military should be Curio & Relic Gun right? But our California buyer says he checked and said it was not a legitimate C&R Firearm. We never verified it with BATFE but gave him a full refund anyway.

Comments: Item was not as described: 80% handgun described as 99%. I see the gun has been relisted with a much more accurate description, so perhaps it was an inadvertant error on AOS's part. Refund given without hassle in about 1 week.

Rebuttal: Obviously we had a different opinion than the buyer had about the approximate percentage of finish left on this firearm. An honest difference, so we gave him a refund and relisted the gun omitting the "PERCENTAGE" while describing the Firearm in a more detailed manner. Hey, these things happen.

Comments: I think that the item in the above listed auction was in less favorable condition than advertised. Although the price was fair and you were extremely quick in shipping, I will think twice before buying sight unseen (pictures are not always accurate) in the future.

Rebuttal: He is WHACKO! RUGER GP100 was EXCELLENT NEAR NEW SATIN STAINLESS & described with only a drag mark around the cylinder & priced accordingly! WITH 9 PHOTOS & TEST FIRE TARGET the description was VERY ACCURATE as per AA and NRA standards! Never asked for refund. WOULD COMPLAIN EVEN IF IT WAS NEW!

Comments: Took forever for gun and then later the refund. They said they didn't receive the ffl in time, ffl proved otherwise.Once i got the gun, i thought the quality wasnt accurately represented in the auction. HOWEVER, they were always polite and professional in emails (on the phone they were kinda abrupt).

Rebuttal: We described gun honestly and accurately according to what we see in accordance with NRA and Auction Arms guidelines, as our positive feedback record shows. We also supplied many pictures. The Fact is that HE changed his mind and is trying to make us look bad! He received a full refund!

Comments: Sent money order with FFL lic. and still had to wait for 4 days for MONEY ORDER to clear their bank - everything else was fine -

Rebuttal: 1) Payment by Postal Money Order gets faster service. Not all "Money Orders" are guaranteed! 2) We give free shipping & Insurance and don't charge extra for packaging. 3) Because of this, we only ship twice per week. Sorry for the four day delay, but really, was that so terrible?

Comments: I don't understand why the seller did not answer a request to "haggle" but did list the same gun again.
| Rebuttal left by: AOS | When: 02/17/2005 at 21:09:36 |
Rebuttal: You wanted to "Haggle" on the price. Obviously we did not want participate in any "Haggle" Also,we are not REQUIRED to "Haggle". We're sorry that we didn't reply quickly to your "Haggle" REQUEST. All is not lost though. You can still resume bidding on the item if you wish.
