1. Forwarded payment 6/28/99 asking that I be notified when it arrived, 2 weeks later I began sending emails (4) to see if payment had arrived, no response.
2. SXS arrived 7/21/99, upon opening I found the following, A. a crack in the stock from the butt plate to the pistol grip. B. a crack behind the trigger guard. C. very little finish, very little lettering left. D. BBL lock and receiver groove were full of fiberglass about 1/8 of an inch thick, probably to tighten up the action??????? This of course would have come out on fireing and may have allowed the gun to unlock. E. I returned the gun within 1/2 hour of its arrival, sent 6 more emails without any response, finally called and was told the gun was there but the owner was not, nobody knew anything. Finally on 8/7/99 I received a refund short $10.00 (shipping I suppose) That is the only reason that this is not a NEGATIVE. I have been in this business for 24 years and NEVER seen a gun graded this badly, this gun was unsafe and beyond repair, it should have been graded NRA-JUNK if there was such a thing. Sorry about all this writing but I am just a little pissed. falcon/iv
