| Comments: I have tried for more than three weeks to make a transaction between Sly and myself end on a favorable note. He will not honer the three day inspection rule first off. The NRA Grade he puts on his items is about two grades off. The little imperfections he describes are grade devaluing blemishes. His last correspondence with me was to offer me $50 not to put negative feedback on his name. I want everyone considering bidding on a firearm from SLY to beware. Rules, Honer, and good business mean nothing to him. Feel free to contact me at (406)453-9192 for further details...Dan |

| Comments: In the description, he claimed that the blueing was worn very slightly along the sides of the barrels "where you would expect it" and that the gun was in excellent condition. I specifically asked this question: "I assume by your description that the lock-up is tight, and the barrels aren't "off face." He side-stepped answering the specific question, but repeated that the gun was in excellent shape. When I received it, I saw that the blueing was worn off in several places and that the wood was dinged up quite a bit. After shooting the gun, I have discovered that the lock-up is NOT tight and that the barrels ARE "off face." I don't think the gun will blow up in my face, but its condition is most definitely NOT excellent. Buying guns at long distance is always a risk, and I got bit. Perhaps this warning will save someone else. |
