Buyer Tip: If you're the High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder. Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that you are. All Auctions are conducted in Pacific Time.

Seller's Description

Drilling - 16 x 16 x 9.3

A beautiful old Drilling, made in Stahl, Germany, by the Christoph Funk company. It was manufactured some time around 1920, and is chambered for 16 x 16 x 9.3. Everything on it works, and all the levers and springs are still strong. The metal is in excellent shape, the wood has some dings and the checkering is worn. The original finish has faded to brown, and has worn off in some areas. I was going to use it in cowboy action shooting, but don't have an ample supply of metric 16 gauge shells! Wood to metal fit on this gun is amazing! Some German guy must have put a few days at least into cranking this one out, and you can enjoy his craftsmanship in the comfort of your own home.

If you don't have a prized family heirloom gun yet, this is your chance!

There is no reserve; fight over the final price with your fellow bidders, send me a check and I'll have my FFL mail it to yours. You can inspect it for 3 days, fall in love with it and cherish it forever.

Good luck!

The shell holder in the stock is felt-lined to insure that your cartridges travel in the utmost comfort.

Yes, those hammers have been used a few times, but the engraving is still beautiful, with good texture.

Pushing the lever to the left selects the rifle barrel, and pops up the rear sight on the barrel rib.

Rifle barrel selector also activates the pop-up sight on the rib. Is that cool or what!

Some dings around the trigger guard. The screw for adjusting the front set trigger is just visible behind the forward/right trigger.

Clean muzzle and chambers
