Buyer Tip: If you're the High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder. Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that you are. Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Winchester Repeating Arms Company -- Model 1894 Made in 1910

Winchester Model 94 .32-40 WCF cal. made in 1910.

This auction is for a Winchester Model 94 in .32-40 WCF cal., made in 1910. The .32-40 WCF and the .38-55 WCF were the first calibers offered in the model 1894 when it was introduced. The stock and fore stock are in good condition, no cracks were observed. There is a minor repair on the fore stock (see photo). There are numerous dings, dents and scrapes (see photos), and none are what we would consider severe. The blued metal retains and estimated ~70% finish. There is evidence of light pitting on the receiver and on the lever. It is equipped with a 26” full octagon barrel. There are some minor dings and scrapes on the sharp edges and a couple of spots with light surface pitting. The magazine tube is blued with some brown patina showing. The bore is very good, shiny with sharp pronounced rifling and no sign of corrosion or pitting. It has an original buckhorn rear sight and blade from sight. The action is smooth and locks up tight. The owner purchased this rifle 1999 at a collectors show in Reno Nevada. He fired it and says it shot great, quite accurate. Trigger pull = ~5 lbs., OAL = ~43 1/2”, LOP = ~13”, Weight = 8 lbs. 1 oz.

Blue Book70% = $2925., 60% $1,950., 50% = $1462., 40% = $1200.

We do not disclose the Reserve on our “RESERVE AUCTIONS” because doing so defeats the purpose of the auction. Disclosing makes it a “Sale”, not an auction, much like a classified listing. Most of the firearms we offer at auction are on consignment with us from one of our clients. Our commitment to our clients is to obtain the highest fair market price possible for their firearms. Thus, we prefer the Reserve Auction and the “HAGGLE” feature offered by Auction Arms. About 50% of our sales are completed via the Haggle. In a Reserve auction if the high bidder does not reach the reserve buy to end the auction the high bidder or the seller may institute what Auction Arms calls a Haggle a one-on-one exchange between buyer and seller to try and come to a mutual agreement on a price. If you are not familiar with the Haggle process, click on Auction Arms “Help & Info” for complete details. For those items that are not on consignment we usually offer a convenient “Buy-It-Now” price.
