Up for auction is the highly collected union switch & signal M1911A1. This pistol is one of the rarest 1911s ever made. They began making these in 1943 and were on contract to only make 55000. This pistol is all original, with correct parts and functions flawlessly . The dulite finish is in excellent condition with very minor handling wear to the trigger. I would rate it overall condition 90-95% this US&S is all original as well as the finish. If you look closely to the pictures you can see the lines in the slide and frame are factory and run the correct direction. Also the edges are untouched and perfectly straight. see pictures for better detail. Stamps are intact and correct. RCD acceptance stamp located beside the trigger, frame and slide are both marked with the proper P proof and L on the tounge of the magazine. Barrel is stamped with the high standard. Trigger is blued, correct mainspring housing and circle pattern barrel bushing better know as the concentric circle pattern.
