Gun retains a pleasing patina overall with some light surface rust. Engraving is good. Both locks are clearly marked: C. MOORE'S /PATENT. The markings on the rib are worn, but it says: C. Moore 77 St. James Street LONDON Maker to the late King. Both locks are in good working order. Platinum plugs on either side of the breach. The right hammer has an extremely well done, period, repair. Bores have light surface rust with most likely light pitting. Original ebony ramrod. Wood is solid with a few minor cracks from age on the right side of the stock and a crack on either side of the wood just above the locks. This gun could use a coat of oil. 28 inch damascus barrels. Missing the front triggerguard screw.
