Gun retains an even patina overall with light surface rust and light pitting. Markings are clear. Bore is rusty. Missing the buttplate. There is water damage to the butt with some cracks. Stock looks to have been lightly cleaned at some point as well. The middle band is a replacement of European manufacture, the front band may be a replacement as well, we're not sure. 69 caliber rifled. In 1862 8,176 of this model were imported into the U.S at the cost of $11.51 per musket. Lock is in good working order. Made in Belgium. Liege proof on barrel. The lock marking reads: C.DANDOY/ A.LIEGE. This item will be shipped fully insured, not entirely sure the stock will survive due to the water damage and cracks.
