Gun retains a pleasing patina overall with some original finish here and there. The barrels appear to have been lightly cleaned at some point. Good working order. Horn underlever that swings to the side to open the gun. Doesn't seem to want to go all the way back over when closed, and we're not going to force it. Marked on the tang E. Th. Steinecke Suhl. Has C.v.U. in the escutcheon plate on the top of the receiver. Stocks are fine with some light handling marks, and a period repair behind the hammers, may have left the factory that way, although we're not positive and doubt it. 32 1/2 inch damascus barrels. Bores are dirty with some pitting in them. This is a very attractive item.
