Gun retains a pleasing patina overall with some light surface rust here and there. Good working order. Stock is fine with some light handling marks. Brass mounted with the exception of the pewter nose cap. The lock is marked: LONDON WARRANTED, and appears to have originally been a flintlock. Adjustable rear sight. Bore has strong rifling. 34 inch octagon barrel. Brass trigger. Nipple appears to be a replacement, but correct. This was made in the 1850's. American made. This is a nice clean honest gun.
