Seller's Description: WELCOME TO THE OUTDOORSMANS!!! ***NO RESERVE***NO RESERVE*** You are bidding on a Heckler & Koch SP 89 Semi-automatic pistol chambered for 9mm in LIKE NEW condition. Serial number on the frame is 21-27474. KD stamped on the receiver, making this pistol's manufacture date 1993. Also marked with the character with the 'N' under it is an eagle with spread wings. This is called the 'Bundesadler' and roughly translated means 'federal eagle." It is used on many German federal insignia. The 'N' stands for "Nitrocellulose" in English. This is a universal symbol found on German firearms that use modern nitrocellulose based propellants. The symbol to the right of the date code is a stag horn. It is the symbol of a particular proof house, located in Ulm, Germany. German firearms are sent to proof houses before sale, for inspection and quality control. HK uses the Ulm proof house exclusively. The metal finish on the SP 89 is 99%+. The only mark on this gun is from the previous owner flipping the safety from Safe to Fire. This pistol has been previously sold at retail, however, the gun appears to have been unfired. Internally the action is spotless and shows no signs of brass, copper, or powder residue. The bore of the 4.5 inch barrel is in excellent condition with bright, shiny rifling. HK SP 89 standard adjustable aperture rear sight and hooded pin front sight. Polymer pistol grip and set of (2) different forend handles are also in perfect shape with no scratches. Also supplied with two HK Factory 30-round straight magazines with fingergrooves on the front sides. One is stamped (SD MP5 HK 4/79) the other is marked (MP5 HK 9/68) What you see is what you get. The magazines appear to have had rounds in them, but are still in excellent condition. Also supplied with an Eagle USA tactical carry bag. Mechanically this gun functions perfectly.
