This is an extremely rare Japanese double barrel flare pistol rig (Kayaba manufactured). The majority of the production was issued to the Japanese Navy and was accordingly Navy Proofed. It has been estimated that only 100 pistols out of the 10,250 pistols were diverted to the Japanese Air Force and " SKY” Proofed. The pistol is in excellent condition with 98% bulling remaining on the barrels. The original painted finish comes in about 85-90%. The bore is mirror bright. The grips are in excellent shape with no cracks in them. The flare gun comes with its original W.W.II holster. This is truly an outstanding piece of history that is in great shape!
