Seller's Description:
What a nice carry gun for the field. This is a Savage Model 745 12 gauge semi automatic shotgun. It looks like a Browning A-5. Overall in fine condition. The finish on the alloy receiver is still mostly there but does show wear from carry. The anodized finish on these never did hold up very well like bluing. Recevier is nicely factory engraved with scrollwork and hunting scense of dog and game birds. The barrel is 26 inches long with what I believe is a factory installed poly choke since barrel is not otherwise marked as to choke. MIRROR bore and a 2 3/4 inch chamber. The action works perfectly. The wood is fine with small marks only from field use. No cracks in forearm or buttstock. LOP is 14 1/8 inches to factory buttplate. The really cool thing is the original manual is present. This is a nice vintage piece. See pics. and ask questions.
