Description

Seller's Description:

This item is a Dan Wesson Model 15-2 357 Magnum Pistol Pak. It was made in 1979. It includes (4) barrels, 2.5-inch, 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch. The rear site is fully adjustable. This Pistol Pak includes 2 wood grips, patch and belt buckle, barrel tool and gap gauge, as well as the original case serialized to the pistol.

This pistol is in excellent condition. It has been fired but it has been cared for nicely. There is a bit of wear at the muzzle end of the 6-inch barrel shroud, just a bit of wear to the bluing from carry in a holster.

Dan Wesson pistols are well known for thier accuracy due to several design specifications, such as front of cylinder locking and two-point barrel attachment.

I am not an FFL, nor do I have to be.

BY BATF regulation, the FFL is required only on the buyer's end of the transaction. That's why I ship to your FFL. The info below ( http://www.atf.gov/firearms/faq/faq2.htm#b1 )is straight from the ATF. B3 says that you can buy from me as long as it goes through an FFL on your end.

Unlicensed Persons: (B3) May an unlicensed person obtain a firearm from an out-of-State source if the person arranges to obtain the firearm through a licensed dealer in the purchaser's own State?

A person not licensed under the GCA and not prohibited from acquiring firearms may purchase a firearm from an out-of-State source and obtain the firearm if an arrangement is made with a licensed dealer in the purchaser's State of residence for the purchaser to obtain the firearm from the dealer.

If you can't find a FFL dealer in your state that understands the law and is willing to transfer as the law allows, if your dealer still wants to have an FFL on the seller's end of the transaction, then I can include my local dealer even though it is not required. However, this adds another cost of $30 for my dealer's services, which the buyer will have to be responsible for. It is completely unneccassary and is quite inconvenient for all parties involved.

Thanks for your interest, and please ask questions promptly!
