	This auction is for a HI-POINT MODEL 4095, .40S&W SEMI-AUTO CARBINE.     Mechanically this gun functions well, bore is clean and finish is very good to fine. Hi-Point 4095 Semi-Automatic Carbine 40 S&W caliber All Hi-Point firearms carry a lifetime, no-questions asked warranty. Whether you are the original purchaser, or a third-hand owner, your Hi-Point firearm will be repaired free of charge. The Hi-Point carbine, is a series of carbines chambered for 9x19mm Parabellum and .40 S&W. They are very inexpensive, constructed using polymers and alloyed metals as much as possible, resulting in a reduction of the production costs and sale price. The Hi-Point carbine is sometimes incorrectly referred to as an assault rifle;[citation needed] in fact it is just a semiautomatic pistol-caliber carbine. It functions via a simple direct blowback action.  The Hi-Point carbine comes with a ten-round magazine that fits into the pistol grip. Aftermarket fifteen-round magazines are also available in most states, with the expiration of the federal assault weapons ban in 2004. The magazines used are a proprietary design only usable with Hi-Point firearms. The pistol-style magazines for the 4095 .40 S&W carbine are fully interchangeable with the Hi-Point .40 S&W pistol.
