Time to begin listing some of the rarer patches. This listing is for the much-sought-after WW2 era shoulder patch for the 2nd Cavalry Division. This is the rare GREEN BACK variety. In good condition with some soiling and minor signs of aging. This patch is a cut edge patch with traces of the OD material it was embroidered onto all about the edges. There's lots of green bobbin threading on the reverse too, and it does NOT have the post-war plastic sizing on the back. It's made of cotton/rayon, NOT post-war synthetics. And it does NOT glow under UV lighting. Absolute WW2 vintage-GUARANTEED! Most of these I've encountered claiming to be WW2 are not. A VERY scarce patch. Never sewn onto a uniform. Damage free. If I didn't already have one of these in my personal collection I'd be keeping this one. See the pics for a visual.
