Guns for Sale - Marlin -- Model 20A Pump 22cal.

Seller's Description:
This is an old Marlin model 20A pump action 22 caliber rifle. It has seen better days, but is still shootable. It could use some restoration work done on it to make it a very nice collectable rifle.

It is all original, except for the front sight, which is a Rocky Mountain front sight. I don't know what the rear sight is.

The bluing is worn and turning patina in color.

The wood is worn, shrunk, cracked and needs replaced. The butt plate is rusty, but not pitted as well as the rest of the metal.

Internally, it is in good shape, including the bore.

Mechanically the action cycles smoothly (without ammo). It doesn't want to feed the shells properly, but when it does feed them, they fire and eject properly. The feed mechanism will most likely need to be adjusted for proper feeding of the shells. When I inspected it closer, I noticed that the shell is hanging up on the feed mechanism that lifts the shell to the chamber.

If nothing else, it's a heck of a good parts gun. I hope the pictures help you decide which.
