Stevens Whippet Model C. .22 Cal. S-L-LR. 22 inch barrel. Barrel has some pitting but no active rust. Wood is in excellent condition with very few handling marks with an oil finish. Yes I understand the BATF allows fax copies but I have trouble with legibility of them so please mail a copy with payment. I DO NOT accept faxed licenses. C&R licenses are only accepted if stated in description of gun. Know your local laws or please don’t bid. I am an FFL and do check all licenses through the BATF EZ Check system prior to shipment.
PAYMENT: Postal Money Orders or Cashiers Checks only. I will not accept personal, business checks and so on, nor do I accept PAY PAL. If the gun is shipped to a Kentucky address you must also include 6% sales tax. The amount due is the final bid + stated shipping in ad + Ky. sales tax if applicable. Payment is due within 14 days of auction close or item will be relisted and negative feedback given. Payment must include a valid FFL signed in (blue or green) ink and AUCTION ARMS ITEM NUMBER AS WELL AS DESCRIPTION OF MERCHANDISE.

If a gun is advertised as a “parts gun” or a “gunsmith special” there are no returns and the sale is final.

Hi, Do you know anything about this Whippet model? I can't find any information about who it was made for or who sold it. It's not listed in any of the books I've looked in. I assume it was made for some hardware or department store, but I can't find out who. Any information you have would help. Thanks, Pete Kennedy
Pete, Good question! I have seen several of these over the years. I don't believe "Whippet" was a store brand. It is to my knowledge was a Model name bestowed by Stevens. I have a few referances to check further. If I unearth anything different I will let you know. Thanks BS Sports
