Seller's Description: i became licensed to build this sometime in '05 , i am a machinist / metal worker the bulk of my life - combine that with a lifelong interest in firearms and VOILA ! two things , one - you don't see something like this often. two - you don't hear about something like this very often , THERE ! so it's not finished campers , nope stopped DEAD in my tracks by an evil virus set up shop on my BRAIN ! bugger took away ability , and memorys. the HARD part is done (leading me up to the NEXT hard part) which is threading the barrel to fit a 4130 chromoly receiver , which is NOW fit correct headspace using clymer gauges. the project stopped after , you know , but it follows my legacy (kooky dude) the bolt is working with a firing pin ready to snap , just needs a trigger group to set it off. perched up on it's own spring loaded (for massive recoil)tripod. i bought BILL HOLMES video on how to build one , which will acompany the beast. now for the truth , i'm the manufacture of this beast , licensed to do so by the U.S. GOVERNMENT , and assigned it my serial number APV50 (my initials and 50) meaning to me , that it COULD BE TRANSFERED TO SOMEONE ELSE. now anyone out there please correct me if i'm wrong , as i'm not the type to monkey with business , never the homies.as it turns out - straight shipment to interested partys. ten bucks says it will fire right now , but the trigger group i partially fashioned before , you know , is in my tool box , along with other necessary metals to complete the BEAST , here's the deal - YOU FINISH THE .50 CAL SNIPER PROJECT ! what could be better , the hard part is DONE , and you've heard an amazing survival story (the TWO from above , coming together ) of it's maker. these two pieces of entertainment (the story , and the beast with tool box) are WORTH the price of admition. it's JUST AS STRAIGHT FORWARD as shipping it to you , just odd because it's more un finished than a '' gun '' ought to be (which i believe is a non issue, working / not working ) you good buddys gotta chime in on this one , before there's a knock at the door. because i KNOW you boys an' girls don't miss a THING , you can just forget about my knifes and knuckles , they're not part of the deal ,but the SECOND .30 CAL BARREL IS ! cheers ! this will COST 50.00 shipping Payment and Shipping Instructions: i have a PAY - PAL account if you like , however i'll accept ANY form of check sent to my home , when it cashes , i ship. A:  BINGO , exactly right , the original chamber in the barrel, screws tight against it's new receiver , the bolt shoves a cartridge in , and locks bulletproof tight , with PERFECT headspace !		05/19/2008

Q:  OK i want to ask you a few questions. !. does the gun have numbers on it that reflect your FFL manufacturing number. 2. do you have an FFL to book this gun in to their log so it cam be transfered to my ffl here in Vegas. 3. the tool box and all the parts except the knives and brass nuckles come with the gun. The total package is the gun with sling and tripod, 30 cal barrel and a toolbox of small parts for the gun. Please confirm. Tom		05/20/2008
A:  transfer through a local shop here since a woke from a COMA (hospital 3 weeks - i don't remember) i can't locate any paper on '' the beast '' the only numbers ever stamped and associated with it's registration is APV501 , my initials and 50 #1 my MAIN interest here , is that ONE OF YOU MIGHT LIKE THIS ! however , being a law abiding citizen my whole life . . . we're NOT breaking any laws you know. this may be '' beyond'' feasible , but i thought these things might answer themselves with '' you guys '' on the job. .30 cal barrel , and lets say '' contents '' of tool box to help save already HIGH shipping costs. anyone feel free to phone me - tony (805)962-7736		05/21/2008

Q:  Howdy from here in Texas, got a few questions about this brute. 1 - What is the bolt from, 2 - are there any lugs for it to lock into, 3 - how is the bore on the barrel (rifling etc), 4 - what actual application was the barrel (which planes in general), 5 - did you add the muzzle. By the way, I weld in a sheetmetal shop and can recognize a diamond in the rough when I see one. Lookin' at the tripod feet etc I can see you have a pretty good head on your shoulders when it comes to tinkerin'. Thanks for your time!		05/21/2008
A:  the bolt is machined from SOLID 4130 chromoly steel , by yours truley , said bolt has three huge lugs - as seen in photo , which LOCK into it's matched reciever , made - as you guessed , by myself , from SOLID 4130 again. bore is shiney nice , can't say specific air craft , browning machine gun , pretty common. muzzle has been STYLED by yours truley once again. original equipment (the barrel) which i decided 36'' was enough of ,so i drilled the cool muzzle brake , for the LIKELY large recoil. NOW THE TINKERING , absolutely necessary quality when it comes to the '' crafty '' stuff , i'm not done with my ideas , just this one for now. cheers buddys		05/21/2008

A:  trigger group to let '' fly '' the pin , a nice setup - re cocks the firing pin upon extraction of spent cartridge , details - details. a trigger to pull the pin back , hook up , get ready , pull , would be fine too. she'll FIRE now , just scarey without a '' button '' to push for lift off.		05/25/2008
