Seller's Description: The pictures of this gun are not the best. Nickel plated guns tend to show up "dark", especially in the lighting we have. Here is a Rossi Model 62 SA, take-down slide-action repeater that is chambered for .22 caliber and accepts S, L, or LR cartridges. The Model 62 SA is manufactured in Brazil and imported by Interarms, Alexandria, Virginia. The Model 62 SA is copied after Winchester's 1890 "gallery" model and it is a tube-fed, rifle with a 23" round tapered barrel and open sights. The bore is in excellent condition. The rifle is nickel plated with a hardwood forend and stock. The barrel and magazine tube have a few minor scratches and a couple of small nicks in them. The sides of the receiver are also bit scratched-up and are a bit hazy, otherwise the finish is bright and shiny (see photos). The forend and stock have a nice gloss finish and are in very good condition with just a few handling marks and no cracks (see photos). The plastic Rossi buttplate is also in very good condition. Overall this Model 62 SA is in excellent condition mechanically and very good in appearance. Serial #G281959. STK. #11305. Chances are you may have owned a "gallery" model 22 as a kid. If your's is long gone, you might consider picking-up this Rossi Model 62 SA as a replacement. This rifle would also make a great gun for you Cowboy Action Shooters.
