HERE IS A CHANCE FOR A REAL BARGAIN - Here is a real Dandy. The Alamo Ranger in 38 special and s&w cal. (it is so marked on bbl) This Gun came from Mexico and was likely a Bandito's Gun. Serial no 12. Marked made in Spain, its a Colt SAA knock-off of very poor quality. This 6" revolver has lots of issues. Missing front site blade, ejector housing and firing pin. Lots of proof marks and marked "Alamo Ranger" on top of barrel. Original finish has turned plumb with some minor pitting. Left wooden grip is cracked. Grips appear riveted on. It has mechanical issues as cocking hammer does absolutely nothing. I can't get the cylinder out to comment on bore. But, it's still rare and it makes for a nice display item of how Colt was copied by other makers of the early 1900's. Ask all questions prior to bidding. email to buckstix@aol.com.
