Description

Seller's Description:
You are bidding on a Standard Arms Model G Autoloader in good physical condition and good working order. The stock is in especially good condition, and may not be original. The serial number is 86XX. According to our research there were only about 7000 of these ever produced, all in the 1910 to 1914 date range. The gas port can be opened and closed to provide the pump action or be used as a semi-automatic. The gun will need some reblueing work to be brought back to like new condition. Physical condition is detailed in the pics. Any questions, please call James or Larry at 775-359-5151.

  Questions from GunAuction.com Users...
(Public)
Q:  Exactly what caliber is this gun? 01/20/2007
A:  It is a 30 cal as described. Larry 01/20/2007

(Public)
Q:  Does this rifle have an ornate brass buttplate that would match the for arm grip? Why might you think the stock may not be original? Would you have a photo of the buttplate? Thanks. Jim 01/24/2007
A:  The rifle does have the brass buttplate with the Standard Arms emblem. The only reason I think, and I stress it is only an opinion, that the wood may have been replaced is it's overall condition being so much better than the condition of the barrel, etc. It may very well be original, but cannot make a definitive statement either way. James 01/25/2007
