Ross M-10 Sporter in the famous .280 Ross caliber. Manufactured in Canada around 1916 - sn 170xx. 26" barrel with excellent bore - no pitting or roughness. The original bluing is also in excellent condition. The English walnut stock has been professionally refinished, and the checkering has been recut. Vintage red recoil pad (originally a "No-Shok" pad, similar to an English Silvers pad), 13-1/2" L.O.P.. No extra holes have been drilled in either receiver or barrel. "500 Yard" folding rear sight, banded blade front sight. Also included (but not shown) is an intact "parts" bolt and a dozen or so rounds of original Western .280 Ross ammo. Don't be put off by those old war stories - Ross rifles are perfectly safe to shoot, provided you're not involved in muddy trench warfare, and don't monkey around with the bolt! FFL required.
