American Side Snap 12 Ga. Single Barrel Shotgun

You are looking at a piece I can't really pin down. The only marking is on the barrel which reads AMERICAN SIDE SNAP. Serial Number 38xx. I'm sure it's American made. 12 gauge break-open single-shot shotgun with side thumb release which doubles as the trigger guard. Shoots 2-3/4" shells. Has extractor, smooth pistol grip stock and forearm and a full choked 32 1/4 inch barrel. Bore is mostly shiny but there are few patches of light pitting. Bluing on FLUID STEEL barrel is approx. 80% with thinning. Receiver retains approx. 40% case colors with the balance faded to grey or brown. Forearm and stock have extremely light scratches and nicks. Buttstock also has dual 1 inch chips a top of tang. 1 1/2 inch hairline crack at back of tang. 1 inch hairline crack on bottom of tang. There is a brass bolt through both cheeks which doesn't look great but tightened up stock fit. Ornate carved and checkered bone buttplate is missing bottom tip. Mechanically works fine and has tight fit of barrel to receiver. NO RESERVE! NO FFL on this interesting piece! Immediate shipment upon payment by Bank Check or MO.
