The rifle has a replacement "Scant" semi-pistol grip stock

The metal appears to be more or less in the same dark finish overall. This would indicate the rifle was overhauled and refinished sometime in it's career.

The buttplate is a replacement made by Smith-Corona, which also made M1903A3s.

Bore is very good with sharp rifling.

Although not all original - I'd rate it overall as Fine to Excellent condition
